Let’s break new ground together.
I’ve broken new ground my entire life. And with your help, I intend to break new ground in this campaign for Assembly.
Orphaned at a young age, I’ve learned to never stop fighting for the things I believe in.
From being the first African-American woman to earn a degree in Nuclear Engineering, to working in the Obama and Clinton Administrations, to my career in hi-tech, I’ve overcome obstacles and challenged glass ceilings.
As a single mother, businesswoman, and community college trustee, I know that the issues we face require a leader with real know-how. As the only woman in this race, I will bring a unique perspective to issues like domestic violence and foster care.
I’m ready to put all my experiences to work for you. I want to go to Sacramento to tackle our state’s most pressing problems from improving our schools to attracting and nourishing business growth to helping middle class families get better health care, fair wages, and navigate the mortgage crisis.
Please e-mail or call me if you have any questions or would like to get involved in my campaign.
By working together, we can change Sacramento.
